Manila Xiamen International School (MXIS) adheres to the fee principle of fairness, transparency, rationality and compliance. Taking into account core factors including operating costs of IB international curricula, faculty investment and maintenance of facilities, we set fee schedules covering all grades from PreK to Grade 12. All charges are fully disclosed with no hidden fees. Multiple payment options and a flexible scholarship programme are available to support every student’s learning journey.
Note: The rates below serve as reference for the 202X academic year. Actual fees shall be subject to the official prospectus of that academic year. The school reserves the right to adjust fees according to operational costs, with a 6-month public notice prior to any revision.
I. Application & Registration Fee
CNY ¥2,500.00. The fee covers the comprehensive competency assessment. It is payable upon enrolment as a one-time non-refundable charge.
III. Payment Methods & Schedule
1. Payment Methods
Online Payment: Via the payment portal on the school’s official website. WeChat, Alipay and UnionPay card are accepted with no service charges.
Bank Transfer: Transfer to the school’s corporate bank account (account details will be provided in the admission letter). Please remark “Student Name + Grade + Fee Type” on the transfer.
Credit Card Payment: VISA / MasterCard accepted. A 3% bank processing fee shall be borne by the payer.
Instalment Option: Annual tuition may be paid in two semester-based instalments with no extra charges.
2. Payment Schedule
New Students: The first-semester tuition and registration fee must be paid within 7 working days after receiving the admission offer. Failure to meet the deadline will be regarded as automatic forfeiture of the offered place.
Current Students: Tuition for the upcoming academic year shall be paid by May 30 each year. A 3% discount applies for early full lump-sum payment.
3. Invoice Issuance
An electronic invoice will be issued and sent to the parent’s reserved email within 10 working days upon successful payment. Hard-copy invoices may be requested from the Admissions Office for mailing.
IV. Refund Policy
Tuition Refunds
For new students who complete registration and payment but do not commence classes, 100% of tuition will be refunded.
Students who withdraw within one month after the programme starts may apply for a 70% tuition refund.
No tuition refund will be issued if the student has attended classes for more than one month.
No tuition refund applies to students who are asked to leave or expelled for violating school rules or laws.
Refunds for Miscellaneous Fees
No refunds for already incurred expenses such as textbook fees and IB assessment fees.
Unused school bus and meal fees will be refunded proportionally based on the unused period.
Non-refundable items: Registration fee, application fee and distributed uniform fees are non-refundable once paid.
Refund Procedure
Parents submit a written refund application → School review (5 working days) → Financial settlement (10 working days) → Funds returned to the original payment account.
